Marquisette cotton muslin is similar, except it is softer, due to thinner wires and higher thread count. Good for swaddling larger babies,
I like this product because it is lightweight, so you don't have to worry about your baby overheating in normal sleepers. It is also large enough to swaddle a 3-6 month child, which is good for us, since our son would still wake himself up with his arms doing unhelpful things during this period (pulling out his pacifier, occasional startling, etc.). The design is also very nice. The only thing I didn't really like was that the blanket holds wrinkles (think linen pants), but it's not a major problem for its use.

My baby was born in July, so it was pretty hot...We've used the blanket almost daily in his first month of life. It is beautiful, the material is great and I love it! I highly recommend it...My baby loved it, too:)
